Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Sosial Terhadap Akhlak Siswa di MAN 3 Tabalong

Abstract

Student morality is an important aspect in education that includes moral values, ethics, and good behavior. This study aims to determine how the use of social media affects the morality of students at MAN 3 Tabalong. The population in this study were all students at MAN 3 Tabalong, totaling 152 people. From the total population, 23% were taken as samples using purpose sampling techniques (certain considerations), with a sample size of 35 students. The hypothesis in this study is the influence of the use of social media on the morality of students at MAN 3 Tabalong. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Then the data was processed using quantitative methods. Based on the results of the research conducted by the researcher, the data obtained from the hypothesis testing of the Use of Social Media showed a calculated t value = 3.430 greater than the t table value = 1.692, then the results of the linear regression analysis calculation obtained a value of Y = 33.390 + 0.479X, then based on the results of the determination coefficient analysis, the results were 0.218 (0.467 x 0.467) or 21.8%. The results of the study can be concluded that the hypothesis in this study rejects Ho and accepts Ha, meaning that there is a positive and significant influence between the Use of Social Media on Student Morals, then based on the results of the determination coefficient analysis, it can be concluded that the Use of Social Media has an influence of 21.8% on Student Morals at MAN 3 Tabalong, while 78.2% is influenced or explained by other variables not included in this study
