This study aims to investigate the quality of Islamic Education textbooks and their role in enhancing students' understanding of moral concepts. The research methods employed include content analysis and surveys among students. Content analysis was conducted to evaluate the quality of content and presentation of Islamic Education textbooks used in schools. Surveys were conducted to gather data on students' perceptions of the textbooks and their impact on understanding moral concepts. The results of the content analysis indicate variations in the quality of content and presentation of Islamic Education textbooks, including clarity of material, relevance to the curriculum, and adequacy of visual support. The survey indicates that the majority of students find Islamic Education textbooks beneficial in deepening their understanding of moral concepts. However, some students also express the need for improvements in the clarity of material and the use of more interactive learning methods. These findings underscore the importance of paying attention to the quality of Islamic Education textbooks in efforts to enhance students' understanding of moral concepts. Recommendations are provided for improving the content and presentation of textbooks, as well as for developing more diverse and engaging teaching strategies in the context of Islamic education.
