Abstrak

This research aims to obtain accurate information regarding the introduction of reading and writing arithmetic (calistung) in early childhood at RA Tadika Adnani, what influence APE snakes and ladders has on the introduction of calistung to early childhood at RA Tadika Adnani. This research is research that describes the introduction of reading and writing arithmetic (Calistung) in early childhood at RA Tadika Adnani. The research method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach, namely describing the results of data processing with words and general descriptions of what occurs in the field. The researcher's data collection process used observation, interview and documentation methods. The results of this research reveal the findings that using the snakes and ladders educational game tool can help improve the calistung abilities of young children and make children more focused and enthusiastic when learning takes place, it also encourages children to be active in responding to the material presented, learning using the snakes and ladders game can assist teachers in responding to children's varied learning styles. The process of learning reading skills at RA Tadika Adnani through the educational game Snakes and Ladders includes initial awareness of writing, reading pictures, introduction to reading and reading fluently. The process of learning writing skills includes crossing out, linear repetition, random writing and writing names. The process of learning to count includes concepts/understanding, transitions and symbols.
